We've been weeks already without a manager.
Our issues are with the ownership and board. There will be no change. Expect the same results.
They clearly are incapable of choosing a manager themselves so are bringing in outside help with Tan making the ultimate decision.
This doesn't bode well.
Until Tan finds a buyer this shit show will continue.
Even Omer Riza's most fervent supporter would have realised that the seven or so months he spent managing the team was a period where he was in danger of losing his job at any time. We're told that for a month before Riza was sacked the Board was united in. wanting him to leave, but the owner was not having it until he woke up one morning and decided that he was.
However, the reaction of Messrs Tan, Dalman, Choo and the club Directors whenever a manager is sacked is always the same - it's as if someone else has decided to make the change and they've all been caught on the hop.
I'm afraid that, so far at least, the hierarchy seem to be reacting as they always do apart from the fact that this time it's being accompanied by a load of blather about how things have to change.
Spot on Bob, the impression is being given that its only since Rita was dismissed that the process started,if thats true ( surely not) then it displays a depth of incompetence that should strike us as staggering, unfortunately that seems to be a way of doing things which has inevitably led to us being in the position we are today.
Obviously, as quickly as possible, three weeks is the max they should take, but get it right, there is still a lot of choice, if they don't take too long.
I think it's a positive that they are getting help, and it SOUNDS like they are trying to be thorough. Let's see what they come up with, I'm just glad it's not those three trying to do it alone.
This article is from when they hired Omer Riza. Sound familiar? Nothing is changing, as per usual, it is more waffle from Dalman.

Whats the rush? Itll be cheaper to wait until August to install a new manger, and in the meantime Tan can just instruct the current staff to use pre season to practice shooting from our own half.
They're getting help to create a shortlist of applicants for interview. The current board will be the ones doing the interviews and making a recommendation to Tan. The lucky winner will then be working under the existing structures. Nothing is changing long-term.
It read....
Cardiff City have detailed how they will hire Erol Bulut's successor, with the help of an external football agency and two former managers..
So pretty much the same process that brought us Omer Riza. I think I'm probably alone in thinking this is a completely cack handed approach to what should be a straight forward, simple process for any football club.
The problems here are, if we had in house football expertise, we would not have been using this arrangement then and those outlined in Walesonline yesterday for the current situation. Sadly, we dont so setting up new recruitment arrangements involving external expertise is not a problem imho. However, the problem is our owner and his tame mouthpiece Ken Choo. Apparently, he ignored the recommendations of the experts first time around and he appointed Riza for the rest of the season. If Tan does the same thing this time then we are in big trouble. Dalman is not the problem here.
He is a significant part of the problem insofar as he maintains the status quo.
He is part-time, lacks football knowledge, has helped oversee a pathetic period of failure - yet still acts as if he knows what he is doing.
He is not. Nor is Choo.
They should resign, but they wont. And Tan wont sack them for some bizarre reason.
According to this article https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/...int_source=nba
Tan has sacked the KV Kortrijk CEO. It doesn't name him, but I thought Ken Choo was the CEO there as well as Cardiff
Well, yes, you are correct. Perhaps I should have said that Dalman was not the “real” problem - that is Tan. Choo is never going to resign as he was appointed to look after VT’s interests in this country. He is Tan’s yes man and will retain his position at CCFC and HR Owen as long as Tan requires him to be there. If Dalman offers his resignation then I assume he will want his 30m back so that’s not straightforward. Who the 2 mysterious Malaysian are and what contribution they make to the running of the Club I have no idea but I’m sure Tan has appointed them for a reason. Borley is in business with Tan so they may be partially joined at the hip. That’s the Board in its entirety- Nothing is straightforward
I assume that all these cars are in London and they'd have to ship them down if you wanted a viewing?
Anyone tempted? 😊

Article claiming that Michael Beale "is now the leading candidate to take the Cardiff job this summer".
Also claims that Mark Allen (who it describes as being employed by Wasserman) could become technical director.

Michael Beale.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thankfully that's not reflected in the markets.
I dread to think who the clowns will have on the shortlist. Page? Beale? Steve Evans?
