I'm not really a big baked beans man tbh. I'll have them on the side on a cooked breakfast but beans on toast is absolutely disgusting and makes the toast horrible and soggy. Not a fan at all.

I think Heinz are a total rip off generally, their soups especially, which aren't even that good.

I don't mind a tin of chick peas or something that you can fry up nice with some kale and spices but tinned beans, no thanks.

Maybe it's because your spirit is happy with anything mentioned except one issue. I have seven different decades of watching City and other issues to reflect on, and I often do, but along the way I meet those who react the same way when it comes to crucial issues, yet never against trivial things.

I genuinely thought that 99% of all baked beans in UK supermarkets came from the same manufacturer - the only difference being the label.

Something I read decades ago. There was a blind tasting done alongside the article and the ‘expensive’ brands or own brands were identical to the cheapest.

All in the mind and the marketing.

I think this way about a lot (but not all) beers. It's largely marketing, hence why they all now insist upon their own branded glasses to differentiate themselves.

However, I do think there are some differences in beans. The cheaper brands aren't packed so much and the sauce is sweeter according to my kids anyway. Heinz is totally a rip off though.

Cheap razors and cheap shampoo, false economy. Cheap ketchup and brown sauce, get if away from me, some cheap cheeses, like eating a rubber band. I'm tighter than cramp and love a freebie or something on the cheap, so much so that I tail gate cars on motorways hoping the car Infront activates the screen wash so that it fly's over the top of him onto my car, but there are limits Jim......

As a teenager my parents would get the DailyMail delivered to their house daily. At the time it was my only source of news and I came close to voting conservative when I was 18. Luckily I went to university and got out of my bubble and the next 14+ years justified my switch.

Other than that I genuinely thought Max Watters would do well for us

Fair play, you have had a unique life. F1 drivers for mates, top end football coaching, models for girlfriends, and the ability to see what nobody else can. There's probably loads ,more but you're too modest to tell us

Statistically, it had to happen to somebody, but I'd say it was more being in the right place at the right time

    Soap

    Sod shower gel

Soap is where it's at and it's taken me 40 years to realise

Shield or that yellow coal tar stuff

Shower with that before a night out and you will have endless female interest

I thought that Osama Bin Laden would be captured very quickly - and not ten years after the hunt for him started.
I also thought that the Internet would seriously undermine the regimes in Russia and China.

I was wrong on both counts.

Skippy still has the label attached to him, or is it his asylum application, hide them both, Starmer will deport them to a holding country......
