Losers to face Cardiff next season
Charlton 1 - 0 Orient
30 mins
Lovely free kick puts Charlton ahead, but the wall and/or keeper looks to be positioned poorly.
Dreadful by the goalkeeper
It wasnt a particularly good strike
Really poor game, poor goal to concede.
Orient really knocking on the door at the moment.
That was an awful game. It made the Championship look glorious.
One benefit of City being relegated to League One is that we dont have to worry about missing any big games while booking holidays, gig tickets, etc, because there arent any.
Yep, Charlton would have beaten us, they won 1-0 in dull style by seeing out the game with a narrow lead just like we used to through much of the last ten years, but we can’t do it any more and, as we don’t fancy a physical challenge these days either, we haven’t got much going for us if the game is a tight one.
Well they conceded 34 all season so I suspect the defenders and defensive midfielders are better than ours seeing as we conceded that by game 21

Do you therefore believe Charlton are a better side than the likes of Blackburn, Sheffield Wednesday, QPR, Preston, Oxford and West Brom? I ask because none of those six sides managed to beat us during the last two months of the season despite the fact that we were undeniably poor.
Four of those sides did beat us, I still cant work out how we got a point at Hillsborough and West Brom were woefully out of form when we played them in our final home game. Im not saying Charlton are better than any of those six teams, what I am saying is that they have momentum, a good defensive record and know how to win games 1-0 - that would be enough to beat at least some of those six sides at least once over the course of a season (we managed to do it once in twelve games) Im sure and would definitely be enough to see off the 24/25 City team.
