The right wingers and conspiracy theorists are just as dangerous as the real terrorists.

On the balance of previous terrorist attacks far more have been carried out by Muslims and Immigrants. 7/7 bombings, Manchester bombings, London bridge, Westminster, Southport, Glasgow Airport, Stephen Tims, Lee Rigby, Parsons Green, Manchester Victoria Station stabbings, Reading Stabbings, David Amess, Hartlepool Stabbings and Liverpool Women's Hospital bombings. There have been 4 so called 'far right' incident over the recent past. This doesn't consider the attempts to harm us which are foiled by the security services. There is no way the far right or conspiracy theorists can be described as 'just as dangerous as the real terrorists'

As usual these days, social media was an absolute cesspit last night.

Initially, there was a vitriolic outpouring of anti-Muslim and anti-immigrant abuse. Then, when it became clear that the driver was a middle-aged white British male, the right-wing snowflakes were up in arms that the police had dared to describe the man in custody as 'white'. Meanwhile, others were suggesting the police statements were a smokescreen to cover up the truth.

What a world we're living in.

I know what it is like to live in an area where the majority is Muslim. It was not a very nice experience. Call that anti-Muslim if like but those who spout how awful it is to point out the shortcomings of that community always seem to be the ones who don’t live amongst them.

If you live in these areas and are from the indigenous population then you knew about ‘two-tier’ injustice well before this Labour Government.

Thankfully I managed to get my family out of that area. I can now put up Christmas decorations, my daughter can walk the streets far more safely without being sexually propositioned and my door isn’t knocked every 5 minutes asking for donations to some Islamic foundation.

I saw posts from prominent right-wingers saying stuff like 'I've been told the driver isn't white and the person arrested wasn't the driver' and 'it's all a cover up' and yet, despite people replying with videos of the driver, they still refused to believe the evidence presented to them on a plate.
As someone else has suggested, I just think he panicked after being caught up in the crowd and drove off when people started attacking his car.
The truth will out, but there'll still be plenty who won't believe it.

The “Islamic terrorists” are largely disaffected young men, brainwashed online by nutcases with an agenda.

If you take a look at x over the last few days, it’s not hard to see how the far right operate quite similarly. If I were a Muslim in this country, I would have similar fears to how many people will have feared suicide bombers after 7/7. It’s sadly a matter of time before there is a major incident from one of the “patriots”.

Unfortunately, the right wing media have really driven this. It’s quite telling that even on a board with a demographic of what, 40…to..70 year old males..? Generous at the front and back end, seem to want this to be immigrant related
