That's right take a long pee on his parade. For a few hours he was happy with our 3rd position finish back before about 10% of us were
born. Personally i'll never forget our 75/76 season. I'm not sure where we finished tho but it was unforgettable.
2nd from memory. Hereford top, City 2nd, Millwall 3rd, Palace 4th. No doubt someone will prove me wrong, but it was a long time ago. Sometimes I can't remember what I had for breakfast yesterday....
Pretty sure you’re right. Palace were top early in the season but blew up. 1-0 at Bury sealed our promotion.

The same manager eventually got us relegated in 56/57, and I think he went on to get Swansea relegated a few years after that. He must have been the most unpopular person in South Wales!
