It seems a little odd that we'd include Kpakio in a squad but not the highly rated Bianchieri if that's the case, not taking anything away from Ronan. But such is life, we've probably obsessed over far too many highly rated youngsters who have been nothing at 21 like they were supposed to be at 16, both for City and Wales.
There's a chance Biancheri isn't THAT highly rated tbf

I’ve not been over impressed by Biancheri when I’ve seen him play for Wales age group teams.

Odd that no one seems to want to talk about the City player who Bellamy said he would have picked in the senior squad in March at 17 if he hadn’t not been injured.

Here he is, right on cue, the chairman of the fan club (mine and the player’s). Fear not, I won’t even mention his name again until August. I’m going to do what the manager of Wales does - forget about him.

A bit difficult when hardly any of us have seen him play. Good luck to him though.

If I've ensured you shut up about him, I've achieved something.

Koumas has played across the front 3, besides I was thinking about their ages. Koumas is coming to the stage of his career where decisions need to be made, Biancheri is not.

Even so, I’d have thought City fans would have seen more of Kpakio playing than they would Biancheri.

Reading between the lines and translating it from Bellamy speak, I get the impression he wasn't massively impressed with him.

That's a strong squad with very injury problems. Good that most of the likely starting line up will have had plenty of game time in recent months including Darlow.
Think we can get a point in Belgium.

Good question, I had assumed it was Cardiff, but I can’t find confirmation of it online. Wikipedia just says he’s Welsh born and of Zimbabwean descent.

And we have the player in the squad that is. Let’s focus on him. He’s got to be in the first team squad next season

You're giving yourself too much credit. It's all Johnny Deadhead's work.

Point in Belgium isn't enough. We have to win this group to qualify and we've already dropped points.

If we do get a point we are still in it but I wouldn't take a point if offered now.

A point away and a win at home against the better teams. It's always been that way.

Can't think of any other player ever on our books to play at every age group to the first team

I'd imagine the likes of Colwill & Mark Harris probably did? They're young enough to have joined the academy from the first age groups

wow really thought most of them came a bit later on

the stats for players that come through from under 8 to first team football are less than 0.5 per cent the last time i looked
