Well, if nothing happens in the rest of today and tomorrow, the club will have missed the target it set itself for appointing a new manager a few weeks ago. I would have hoped that they’d be working flat out to keep to the deadline - if they can’t, then I reckon something’s gone wrong.

Here’s the article, seems there’s a split among the Board (for what that’s worth) - it reads as if a Murphy or Ramsey appointment would entail the sort of changes Tan has been advised to make by what seems the rest of the world, so does that mean a Buckingham appointment wouldn’t?

I’d imagine the delay could be down to our preferred candidates holding out for something better - Buckingham is apparently wanted by Plymouth whilst the Bristol City job is likely to be available soon.

It just shows how ITK rumours trigger these odds.
While Id prefer Ramsey of the what looks the short list if he is appointed then why all this delay and paying people to find us a manager.
I just can't see it being Ramsey and the former manager of Mumbai City is the likeliest.
You do realise the bit of paper waiting for Tan’s attention is sitting in a pile, underneath important business, like: who is going to run the Starbucks in NW Kuala Lumpur; who can sort out that casino in Malacca; where can I build a HQ to rival Donald Trump’s?

There is of course the possibility that a major restructure is being put in place with football people being put on the board and a really ambitious and talented managerial set up about to be appointed.
Or they've learned nothing and we are about to appoint a cheap out of contract cast off from Oxford or Bolton or someone already at the club.
I guess we will soon find out.
That BBC article and the fab minutes gives me the impression the only thing that has changed is maybe the quality of recruitment options being put to tan (or at least the process to identify them). Beyond that it's still just one guy on the other side of the world playing an outdated version of football manager.
