Well his track record on the pitch since his return has been pretty woeful. But we are not allowed to be critical of AR I have learned to my cost.

AR comes across as a thoroughly decent bloke, and a good ambassador for the club and Wales. I have never met him but he speaks well and in time could become a good manager.

He has a wonderful playing record for other clubs (notably Arsenal) but as he has only played around 40 games in total for Cardiff (in three spells) it is a bit strange he is classed as a Cardiff City legend.

Phil Dwyer, Peter Whittingham, Brian Clarke, could be classed as legends.

But the older I get the more I realise how little I know!

Tan’s views on Ramsey over his time as a player can’t be too favourable. I’m sure that two years ago he’d never even heard of Aaron Ramsey but was persuaded to part with a large sum of money to be spent on wages with the intention of driving a promotion campaign. Here we are two years later with zero return on the initial investment and now in a division lower. And now the same individual is being proposed as the one to take us back up as a manger. If Tan holds any grudges then it may not be a relationship that is based on solid ground.

The important thing for me is he's been at big clubs and has first hand experience of how they are run. I also think if he's appointed it'll be on his terms.

If he picked based on evidence though then none of our caretaker managers would’ve been made permanent, and maybe we wouldn’t have been relegated

Hes actually weakening in the market. He went to 2-5 yesterday. The move in the market is for Ramsey overnight.

TLG has a point they are meaningless as its shifting all the time - probably a flutter of bets due to ITK rumours.

    Bookies haven't a clue.

    Do those running the club?

It must be him then !
Seriously, it seems we've probably got another Bulutgate - job offered but candidate holding out for another, more agreeable offer.

I've found these odds from the day before Bulut was announced:

    Nathan Jones 5/2
    Vitor Campelos 5/2
    Sol Bamba 9/2
    Oscar Garcia 5/1
    Steve Morison 6/1
    Steve Cotterill 8/1
    Michael Duff 10/1
    Alexander Blessin 14/1
    Kevin Phillips 16/1

    Bulut not to be seen.

I think Buckingham would be a great move personally, maybe with Rambo as assistant if he doesn't bring his own. He's young and hungry, has league one experience, plays good football, and has had success wherever he's been.

Sky have just said that the Cardiff hierarchy have realised they can't get Jones.

Followed it with Ramsey and Barry-Murphy in contention but Ramsey wants to keep playing and BM has reservations about being a No.1 in League 1.

Will we ever appoint anyone or is the nightmare of Purse/Ramasut taking pre-season developing into reality.

Sky are as full of shite as everyone else. Very few people know what’s going on, including our board, the rest is just speculation.

To be honest, I’d be surprised if anyone has bet any serious money on who will be City’s next manager. I’m pretty sure the bookies limit the stakes on such markets anyway in order to protect themselves and it’s a daft market to begin with considering the final decision will be made by one clueless lunatic and will therefore not necessarily follow any kind of logic.

Anyway, that’s me done for a couple of months. I felt pretty sure the club would have appointed a new manager by now but it hasn’t happened and I’m genuinely bored of it all. I’m fed up with this stupid football club and tired of this silly message board too, so it’s time for a break. I’ll be back in August, although if Ramsey gets appointed I might deactivate my account altogether.

Nor me, I suppose the so called experts aren't that expert?
