Only in Cardiff City world would a rookie head coach pick his DoF. Head coaches have a lifespan akin to that of WW1 fighter pilots, while the DoF's are supposed to be the generals.
Probably Rambos' agent or the guy who organised his stag night.

I would love us to get Tony Mowbray as DoF, if AR has negotiated it as part of his deal.

A few years ago when this was discussed someone suggested Laura MacAllister.
A couple of days later she was in St Canna's having a pre-match drink. I told her about the suggestion and asked her what she thought. She said she'd love to do it.
How about Osian Roberts?
I'd be very surprised if it isn't Gavin Chesterfield.
Would rather a full time CEO, never been a huge DoF fan.
Have been thinking about this for a while. The only way that I can see an AR appointment working is with a DoF, but it would have to be someone that Tan either has an existing relationship with, or someone that he would trust (possibly by reputation, or by knowing that they care for the club, and would have it's best interests at heart). Nothing to these names but pure speculation, but some people who might fit that category are:
Steve McPhail,
Dave Jones (pretty sure I heard him touting himself for the role in some interview recently),
Tony Mowbray,
Warnock (disaster waiting to happen for me),
Mark Allen,
Osian Roberts (unfortunately would probably be out of our league),
An internal appointment - Chesterfield/Purse/etc.
Russel Slade.
Interestingly, I saw that former City Academy product Joe Jacobson has been appointed to a similar role for Reading!
Alex Robertson is shitting himself reading this thread!!
It's vital we appoint a director of football or similar. He's also going to need to appoint a decent backroom team
No I don’t think we will
Yeah, when I read the article and he was describing what he would be doing in his co-CEO role, he mentioned that it wouldn't be a typical CEO role, and him having had a professional playing career meant he could get involved in more from the footballing side of things.
Axl Rose and Department of Fisheries?
We don't need a dinosaur.. Previously we have had really old heads or dross . Ramseys reign can be the antithesis of this.
He's more likely to want a Steven Mcphail type.
I'm looking forward to Ramsey.
