not sure what's more likely to happen today, a bunch of teddy bears having a picnic or Cardiff City announcing their new manager. However, according to some (do they qualify as Cardiff City influencers?), Tuesday of this week was the day the big announcement was made! Does anyone believe it will be today? Do you still care?

What little goodwill I had left for the club's hierarchy has long since vanished. I'm expecting that Ramsey will be announced as manager at some time, though. We know the club thinks the world of him and Ramsey knows it and I think he is exploiting the situation to his best advantage. I was told he was on a PL wage when he came back here, and although his 3rd season is an 'option' I don't think he is prepared to become manager on a wage commensurate for his experience. Plus this Mexico stuff which has all the hallmark of being leaked to the media suggests negotiations are still ongoing. City's problem is that the longer this is drawn out the harder it is for Tan and Choo [?] to go back to the drawing board and start talking to the applicants they last spoke to a month ago.
Is it me? Why do the club think the "world of" someone who has been paid handsomely to do virtually nothing for 24 months? Even his biggest fand have to say it has been a huge disappointment.
I am obviously missing something about this.
I repeat this is no criticism of the man concerned but what are the qualifications / experience in the area?
He may prove to be the next great thing in football management, but at the moment and in reality he is a 35 year old at the end of his career with long term injury issues.

It would be good to get a manager before fixtures are announced?
Well probably as expected, the Trust's letter to the Owner, Chairman and Board has had absolute zero response. Dear oh dear.
Keep the thread going, by law of averages one day in the future will be the day?!
Got a feeling Friday now, big day for news.
It's odd that the club from top to bottom has been on 'silent running' for the past month, with even our local media seemingly out of the loop. Re. the Trust statement even a one liner to the effect that the club is still actively working on bringing in a new manager, but nothing, absolutely nothing.
Perhaps Daya was correct !!
