I wonder if they think things are fine and they are doing a good job??

I noticed that. Apparently Dalman has not been involved in transfer negotiations due to personal reasons.
    The shitshow continues.

How do you choose a manager?, I would love the current Cardiff City hierarchy to set out a detailed explanation of what process they are following and perhaps, give us a clue how it’s progressing.

"Trust Statement: We wanted to inform supporters that we are in regular and frequent contact with club concerning the managerial situation, urging them to issue an update statement to fans. We continue to press situation. Appears to us that indecision down to owner and CEO."

    Re: Trust update FWIW

Bit confused on that one, I assumed Tan made the decision and that was that.

If it was Dalman maybe as he has an investment in the clubs. Does Choo?

We need to make Choo choose!!!

    Re: Trust update FWIW

Shouldn't the trust put a statement out saying they have absolutely no confidence in the current owner and board?

Ken Choo. Sounds like a sneeze, feels like a virus.

If he was left to sort out the manager’s role alone, Dalman must have known he’d balls it up and has practically thrown him under the bus.

Why hasn’t he resigned yet? It’s insane. He must be insane!

    More from them:

    "Manager Recruitment Process

You will remember we wrote to you on 4 June expressing our concern about the absence of any information from the club on the progress in recruiting a new manager. Well, surprise surprise, there is no further information and the fanbase are still in the dark. Time is moving on, critical pre-season decisions need to be made in terms of the squad which cannot happen without a manager.

It is as long ago as 19 April that Omer Riza was relieved of his duties and 3 May was the final game of the season and it is 10 June that this communication is being written with still no sign of an appointment. As the ultimate power within the Club does Vincent Tan have a sense of urgency ?

The club may say that there is no reason to panic but it is fair to say that the fanbase view the situation with some concern and anger. That fact that there has been a deafening silence from the Club has not been helpful. No attempt to allay concerns and confirm that the ship is not heading for the iceberg.

We have been in frequent contact with the club and have urged them to put out a statement to update fans as to where we are but nothing has emerged. We are led to believe that the current state of inertia/indecision is purely down to the owner and his acolyte Ken Choo.

Looking at the news section on the club website it shows no reference to manager recruitment since the end of the season. In the meantime this information vacuum has been filled with rumour and speculation in the Press and Social Media but still nothing official. This situation is intolerable and only serves to demonstrate the contempt the owner holds the fanbase in.

We have no idea where we are in the process. Are the experts employed to assist in the job of finding a new manager still in the building? Are they continuing to advise ? We hope they are but we just don’t know.

We will continue to liaise with the club to try and urge them to improve communication as fans deserve to be treated better.

Mention has already been made in this communication of the news section on the club website. It is interesting to note that, on 28 April, the club won an EFL Fan Engagement award as a club who “demonstrates how it specifically involves and liaises with supporters”.

In the light of the current debacle over communication in respect of the appointment of a new manager perhaps the club might consider handing the award back.

Good statement to be fair. Going to have to be a banger of an appointment to turn this around and I don't mean Giggsy.

    Shambles.

Maybe Tan doesn't care and is prepared to lose his investment. Maybe he's never forgiven us for turning our backs on his beloved red. Maybe this is his long drawn out revenge.

May be they messed up the recruitment processes, offering the job to Ramsey and saying thanks but no thanks to the other candidates. Then when Ramsey said "no thanks" they were stuffed, with no one left to offer it to.

Trouble is, what decent manager would work under our clowns?

    Re: Trust update FWIW

That's a good statement fair play.

    Re: Trust update FWIW

It's a bit funny that even when they try to apparently get in some outside help they massively **** up almost every step.

If ever there was an advert for how rudderless and poorly run we are this has been it.

Yet we still won't have any change of structure.

I can forgive some poor fortune, maybe your first choice turns you down after a decent offer, maybe another club comes and takes your second choice leaving you in a bit of a mess. But you keep the fans updated, they are the one especially after relegation you need to try to get some good will going. But nothing. I'm almost certain we have just floundered, faffed and dithered about as per almost everything that seems to happen.

It's going to be Purse and Ramasut taking pre-season isnt it ?

    Re: Trust update FWIW

Maybe theyre not panicking as they haven't realised there's an extra transfer window, and that other clubs are going about their preseason business.

Of course; they'll be manager and assistant by then.

    Re: Trust update FWIW

It’s a good well worded statement from the Trust, we don’t need to know the details of the recruitment system but the complete lack of communication from anyone at the club is appalling in its disregard and disdain for the fan base , especially after Dalman’s “ we hear you , we will improve communications” statement at the end of the season.

The thing is the only person we ever hear from the club during the season is whoever is manager at the time. Now we don’t have one the silence is even more deafening from our owner and board
