Luke Williams working at Bristol airport

Apparently a man providing for his family is newsworthy.

    Fair play to him.

Fair play to him, I’m sure there is an easier way to make money for him, maybe he just wants to give something back.

Also this wouldn’t be done on a whim, it takes time to get a pass to be able to go airside regularly for work.

Fair play to him, I worked at Cardiff Airport along side the PRM team and they work hard and obviously Bristol is busy.

Good on him, also shame on Walesonline for trying to make a story out of it

Massive respect to him. You can imagine that it must be quite hard being an out of job manager. There arent exactly tonnes of opportunities that present themselves, let alone close to your home. There must be a lot of wondering if or when the next job offer turns up.

    Good for him

Cardiff airport would have been better.

He will still be getting paid though and a few more years ( unless he took a payout, but we know clubs prefer to still pay managers after the boot to spread the load ) , rumour or fact, I dont know ? was he saw his entire 5 year contract out at Swindon, despite only being manager for 1 & 1/2 seasons ( I know, why shouldn't he etc etc ) which seem strange as his stock must have been high after his time with Notts County and them getting that massive points tally in the NL running Wrexham all the way , he might just be one of them people I guess

From what I’ve read online, it’s not a paid job - he’s volunteering. Strange story, though. I mean, he’s got plenty of experience, so a new job shouldn’t be too hard to find, surely?

I'd imagine there's probably a mitigation clause whereby Swansea will stop paying him if he gets another club (which would presumably be at L1 or 2 level on a much lower wage).

Judging by his previous interviews he's a bit of a grafter, so this is probably preferable to sitting on his arse at home all day.
