This is a fantastic quiz, thanks for posting. Shockingly I'm struggling to place City. I think 11 is Teading but I really don't recognize 7 as being Ninian Park. Is it the old Canton Stand?

1 Must be Port Vale, as I know that isn't as old as many grounds (andi it looks like it!)

    2 Doncaster

    3 Luton

    4 Rotherham

5 Must be the County Ground in Northampton?

    6 Stockport

    7 Don't know? City? 🙈

    8 Bradford

9 by process of elimination, Blackpool

    10 Huddersfield

    11 don't know, Reading?

12 By process of elimination, Stevenage?

    13 Peterborough

    14 Wigan

    15 don't know

    16 Wimbledon

    17 Plymouth

    18 Burton

    19 Exeter

    20 Leyton Orient

    21 Bolton

    22 Wycombe

    23 Mansfield

    24 Barnsley

That’s a tremendous effort James, you’ve only got the team that I always forget about left

Don’t look at Mr Wales’ reply Des, he’s got all but one of them right.

Just googled Graham Taylor and he managed Lincoln City early in his career

Respect to James Wales, he was rapid there. But, surely, he should've said he got Blackpool by a process of illumination, not elimination? It was an open goal, he shouldn't be missing chances like that at this level.

I think he was a bit dim on that one.

Yep, he was towering above all other posters, pierless and a rock amongst men, fair dues.

Playing Devil's Advocate, I suppose it could be said he only had a bunch of donkeys to beat.

True, but he did go the extra (golden) mile.

Going back to the quiz, I had some feedback saying that no. 13 was obvious if you looked at it closely enough - I can’t find anything, but my eyesight is pretty hopeless, can anyone else see why no. 13 is obviously Peterborough?

He did explain somewhere in his reply that he meant 12 not 13 but I don't blame you for not reading all of it, I was struggling myself. Stevenage FC is written on top of the dug-out in 12.

There’s nearly always one where I let something naming the club through as a slight defenceo, I would say that there weren’t many photos of Broadhall Way that were possible candidates to use as most of them made it pretty obvious who played there.
