Players off at the Chelsea/Benfica game due to the threat of lightning with 4 minutes left. Fans making their way to the concourses. Understandable but a weird situation during a tournament. World Cup could be interesting with these scenarios.

They came back on and Benfica levelled with a 90+5 penalty.

Into extra time now. Benfica just down to 10

The England U21 players will still be rubbish when they move up to the senior team.

Chelsea won 4–1 AET. Nice to have live footy on the iPad while catching up with some Glastonbury.

I don’t actually enjoy watching football anymore. I sat through the whole 80 minutes of the Lions game yesterday, real solid men putting their bodies on the line.

If I see another defender shepherding the ball, suddenly throw themselves forward dramatically, I’ll go insane.

Football is becoming boring, predictable and painful to watch in my opinion. I’m hoping that going down to League One eliminates a lot of the game playing wimps that infest the Championship and Premier League.

Sadly, I very much doubt it.

See you at the first home game haha.
