Let’s hope James Story from Cardiff can get through a few rounds too
Was watching him practice last week, was looking good.

Tennis, not our upcoming opponents in the football.
Kicks off today with a couple of Brits already through, no line judges - all replaced by cameras and the chance for a Welsh girl to end Radacanu's tournament this afternoon.

Did see this BBC article about 3 British teenagers in the women's draw.

If you can't beat them.
Xu is not being steam rollered by Raducanu, if only she could serve cleanly it would be closer.
Welsh interest at Wimbledon ends as Mimi Xu is beaten 6-3, 6-3. That said, it was nice to have some Welsh interest in a tournament we are notoriously bad at for the first time in ages and, watching her today, you’d think she’ll be back again in the next few years.
It looked like Xu was going to get hammered as Des said but she made Raducanu cuss and swear a bit in that second set, really digging in.
6-3 6-3 does look like an easy win but Xu put in a decent performance and does look like a good prospect for the future.
Good also for ER to get that kind of game going forward.
Edit: also on the centre court a good escape from Alcaraz
