WOL reporting that Kevin Gibbins (was Head of Football Science & Performance at Rochdale) to be appointed to BBM's coaching team, and that Gavin Ward to stay on as goalkeeping coach with a new contract.

Not sure how all that fits together.
Brian Barry-Murphy as First Team Coach (Manager) with Lee Riley as his Assistant (Manager).
Gavin Ward as Goalkeeping Coach.
Kevin Gibbins as (what?) a First Team Coach or a replacement for Jonny Northeast?
Darren Purse is back with the u21s. Tom Ramasut is somewhere - but not with the First Team.
The coaching and support team still looks underpowered and cobbled together. Hopefully that will change soon.
Gibbins is Head of Performance.

The club's just clarified:
"Brian Barry-Murphy’s coaching team for the 2025/26 season has been confirmed.
City’s Head Coach is joined at the Vale Resort by Assistant Head Coach Lee Riley, Head of Performance Kevin Gibbins and Goalkeeping Coach Gavin Ward.
...
The Bluebirds’ backroom has also been bolstered by the arrival of data analyst Rob Clarke, who will complement Lead First Team analyst Luke Foulkes and First Team analyst Matt Jenkins."
Like you said, looks a bit on the coaching front still. Not sure how many coaches most League One/Championship teams have but I'd imagine it would be at least one more than that.
I mean, good that they're backing him with a new staff, but I'm still waiting for the games to be played before I cast any judgement on BBM. That's where it matters. I have no positive or negative judgements really as it stands.
For comparison, just looked up Luton at random and this is their list:

Just one example, mind.
Wonder who’s overseeing the fitness training?
It seemed inevitable that we were only bringing in one more addition to the coaching staff, so there was always going to be a lack of specialization again - Gavin Ward set piece coach again?
Aren't we still at least two coaches down on even the Riza regime?
Riza, Shaw and Northeast have been replaced - but Purse and Ramasut were also listed as part of the First Team coaching staff and as far as I can see no one has come in to take their places.
Northeast was always shown as in a support role whereas Gibbins is now part of the main Management Team - so a change of role and status.
Although there are always other staff shown around the training ground in the club videos who I can never put a name to - maybe analysts, conditioning staff, or Academy coaches?
It is also clear that Brian Barry-Murphy is a proper coach and much more involved on the training ground than his predecessors - he is hands on with everything.
But it still looks a thin and underpowered coaching group when compared to other clubs and ours in the past.
Edit: never mind. Point's already been made.
Well Bath City in the NLS has the manager, assistant coach, GK Coach and football analyst and S&C coach ( with assistant who is normally a Bath Uni Student )
so very similar to our setup, keep in mind Bath are Part time, train once or twice a week ( depending on midweek games )
