Thread: Wales rugby.

    Wales rugby.

19-7 up at half time, they’re falling apart in the second half in Japan as they trail 24-19 in the last ten minutes. Their set piece play has been shocking and they’ve wilted in the heat. Japan were crap for an hour, but as soon as they upped their game a little, we’ve not been able to cope.

And it’s eighteen on the trot as we drop to fourteen in the world - I wonder when our world ranking will overtake the number of consecutive defeats?

That was desperate, an awful Japan team with 8 debutants and we just collapsed. Shameful

What a dreadful 2nd half performance. After about 50 minutes they were effectively playing safe and tried to ‘sit on their 1-0 lead’. Huge mistake. And why would you take off your captain and most important player with the score 17-19. Poor call.

Wales need to beat Japan next week or when they come to Cardiff in the Autumn. If not the other games in the autumn and the next six nations will probably mean the 18 match losing run will be 28

I can remember going to watch Wales B play Japan at Cardiff Arms Park. Back then, in the 70s, the full Wales side would not have been considered a fair match for Japan, hence the fixture against Wales B.

    How times have changed!

That second half was pitiful. Once again the basics were lacking at the set pieces.
This is far worse than the 90's when we had the excuse out best players had switched to Rugby League
Its now nearly five months since Gatland and still his replacement isn't in situ. The entire WRU board need to resign.

    Just seem the Wales result.

Never mind, at least we have the Lions to roar on!

    *cough, splutter and spew*

The fall off of this team needs to be studied. Even at HT I wasn’t confident they’d win. They’re used to losing now. Going to take a momentum effort to turn it around

    Coz he's useless.

Great he can carry but his command of the lineout is awful.

If you ever thought Vincent Tan was useless, just remember he could be the WRU.

They have forgot how to run with the ball in hand and pass to a team mate.

At this rate it won’t be long before Wales end up playing Japan B for a fair contest.

That’s harsh. Just think when it’s a 1 score game and you haven’t won for eons, you need your leader and driving force on the pitch - even if he screws up the odd line out.

Possibly I just don't rate him. Suspect its because he gets over hyped because we have such a poor depth of playing talent and he's the best of an incredibly bad bunch.

Doesn't get in the starting 15 of any T1 nation.
