An analysis by Wales Online into whether there’s anything to the takeover rumours also contains the devastating news that “sources” are saying that it’s “business as usual” at the club - first relegation and now this

It would be an anticlimax now if everything carries on the same, as shambolic as ever.
Tan should be strapped to a bed in a locked and darkened dungeon forcibly constrained to listen to Englebert Humperdinck singing "Please Release Me" on constant rewind.
It's Cardiff City Bob, and we as fans know that things will not smoothly. As a pessimist when it comes to our club, I don't think Bale will take over, nor have I ever believed that he ever will. I want to him too, but in my heart of hearts know it just isn't going to happen. Our beloved Emperor will still be here this time next year, as we possibly get ourselves ready for a tilt at leaving League 2.
Any takeover would probably be many months away but at least there is now the prospect of one.
Too late for a positive impact next season more than likely.
The WOL story seems to be more likely and realistic to me than some of the hype in other media.
There is clearly interest from Bale and the consortium behind him (who they?) and there has been contact. But WOL saying there has been no formal bid makes perfect sense. Bale is talking it up; Tan and the board aren't talking at all! There is a dance going on - in the media and behind the scenes - with each side (how many sides are there - two, three, four....?) sounding each other out. It may progress, it may not. These takeover deals are usually drawn out and complicated - and more than normal with Cardiff because of the annual losses, debts, Sala etc - so I wouldn't invest too much hope and energy into a maybe outcome just yet.
No change this season is probably still the most likely. But hopefully not.
If Tan's family seriously want him to get out of football he won't have a better opportunity. He'll lose money whenever he goes but that's because of his own arrogance and stubbornness
Han Solo - "How we doing?", Luke - "Same as always", Han - "That bad, huh?"
Same vibe, Bob?
I’d be interested to know what Dalman is up to.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he wasn’t a member or a driver of one of the other interested groups. His lack of public engagement or commentary for the last few months on the club position is damming
As if the reporters at WOL have any idea what’s going on.
I’ve never known as deafening a silence to surround the club, you have to question whether anyone is actually running the show at the moment, takeover, silence, transfers, silence,it’s a bit like the old westerns,I find it slightly unnerving!!.
