I think the absence of any denial is more revealing. Anyway, based on the thread on the other place and the podcast I think it's pretty obvious that we're closer than ever to seeing the end of Vincent Tan's stewardship. The transfer window closes on 1st September. I'd expect a prospective buyer would indicate to Tan that any deal needs to be in place with time available to bring in new players. Yes, it is strange there has not been any official response / comment from the club to Bale’s quite open comments on purchasing the club
