They will firmly be criticising the expulsion of a child for expressing her culture. And to that you will say...ahh..it's her parents influence! But you would never say that in any other case, and that exposes your bias. It's wrong. It was wrong from the start, the school knows it and no one should have sympathy with the school.
Whatever her dad's politics, they are fueled by the original decision. Fanned by the kind of arguments you are making here tbh.
