The best I’ve seen in 3-4 years, hopefully it continues!!
you only sing when you're winning![]()
Was very good. Sun shining, local lads playing well. Life is good.
Winning breeds positivity (although you wouldn’t know it judging by some of the miserable bastards sitting around me) and the fans will return. We could easily average more fans this season than we did last season. Got to back it up with a dominant away performance now.
Back home now and my ears are still ringing after a 2 hrs drive. A few close misses, never a penalty. The Blues are going up!
The whole atmosphere was like watching “our sons” play. We wanted everyone to do well & they didn’t disappoint.

Give it time, it’s sunny and people have hope
Have we got a new drummer in the Ninian Stand
It was 8 games and October before we got this many points last season!!
Biggest attendance of the weekend in L1?
I certainly think there is a lot of goodwill towards the youngsters and we want them to do well. Everyone wanted Lawlor to play like prime Alan Hansen but though it was obvious he was struggling with the physical challenge from their number 9 there was little criticism around me in the crowd in the way say Daland or Chambers would have got. There was relief when he was subbed as it seemed only a matter of time before he was sent off but again he was applauded off the pitch. Still being positive as a crowd in supporting this young team is easier when we win, it won’t always be this way I suspect !
yes it was a good atmosphere, a fun day out.
the atmosphere at home against Oxford was just as good for Ramsey's first game in charge - right up until the Oxford player smashed it in from 35 yards.
but this week we won so everyone went home happy.
but I'd agree that there's a general atmosphere of willing them to succeed rather than - I've paid money for this so I want to be entertained.
