Thread: Away (AFC Wimbledon) walk-ups?

    Away (AFC Wimbledon) walk-ups?

As a City fan living in London, I thought I might be able to get to a few away matches this season.

Can't imagine we're going to sell out our allocation for Wimbledon on a Tuesday, since Wimbledon is a pain in the arse to get to even if you live in London - but the ticket info says the last release is for club members.

Am I going to have to pay an extra 35 quid on top of the ÂŁ28 ticket, or if it's not sold out will I just be able to walk up to the box office?

I don't know but I think it unlikely Wimbledon will allow it given that they are restricting sales to the home end.

Lots of new for many away grounds this season. Wimbledon will sell out given the small allocation, as will the likes of Stevenage. Very unlikely there will be pay on the night for Wimbledon.

I tried to get a home ticket with a London address. But not allowed. Hospitality Lounge on the other hand is a different matter.

There’s less than 1,100 tickets up for grabs. We’ve just taken 2,200 to Port Vale for a televised game.

You’ve no chance of getting a Wimbledon ticket unless you know someone who qualifies and isn’t going.

Ouch, didn't realise the allocation was quite that small!
