La Liga has always been quick to throw away their integrity for money. Since 2020 the Spanish Supercup has been held in Saudi Arabia and will be played there until 2029. And to format has been expanded from 2 teams/1 game to 4 teams/3 games.
Absolutely. It also has typically had much less equitable TV deals. They change fixtures there very late in the day and is a major reason there is a lack of away fans and often a poor atmosphere at games.
