    Hey Dorcus

It’s around 40 miles from Downtown DC to the Inner Harbor area of Baltimore.
I don’t really know the crime stats as a comparison, both cities can be very dangerous and some of the areas in PG County, which is in Maryland but still part of the DC Metro area are pretty bad.
I remember my mate who was as fearless as a honey badger stopping at a gas station in a place called Bladensburg he was driving a Corvette…I honestly thought we were going to get car jacked.
Thankfully as I said, Mike was a fearless fu**er from Oklahoma and looked pretty intimidating himself (Sadly he was found dead in a dumpster/skip down south a few years ago).

This link gives a decent breakdown of the worst places.

I’d say Anacostia is probably the worst area that I’ve been to in DC.

You probably missed the criteria she set whilst spewing gristle and sourdough over your Macbook.

“If he could end it without putting Ukraine in a position where it had to concede its territory to the aggressor, had to, in a way, validate Putin’s vision of greater Russia, but instead could really stand up to Putin, to make it clear there must be a ceasefire,”

I don't know. Seeing Trump act like Pinocchio to Putin's Geppetto on American soil was pretty illuminating. That said, I think Putin may have overplayed his hand in making Trump look so weak when the media blitz kicks off in 'Merica.

    So what happens next then?

Clearly has to be a second conference soon or else that was a total waste of time

I can't believe Trump sent a B-2 stealth bomber over Putin's head just after he arrived. Some people say it was a flex, while others think it was a mark of respect.

Probably Trump comes up with something else to try and take people’s minds off Epstein.

    Helsinki mark 2.

If they had played the Epstein card in 2016 Trump wouldn't have been involved in three presidential cycles. Why didn't they do it???

It is interesting contrasting two deeply flawed individuals who are likely to loom large in the (discoverable) Epstein Files when it comes to resolving European conflict.

Clinton, for all his sins, oversaw the Good Friday Agreement and the Dayton Accords delivering peace in the Balkans. Both were imperfect and in the latter ceded authority over territory captured by an aggressor (but not sovereignty). A number of those aggressors were in time prosecuted for war crimes.

In those days the head honchos only came in when the i's and t's were dotted or to resolve last minute wriggles.

Compare that with the head of the most powerful country in the world greeting a war criminal into his country with a red carpet and a private limousine ride and after a couple of hours of "painstaking" negotiations basically acceptinghis position that, not only should bits of invaded territory become Russian, but other bits they have spent three years trying to conquer should be handed over without quarrel.

Can't recall whether Neville Chamberlain got the Nobel Peace Prize.

Were heading into territory and scenarios which previously could only be dreamt up by a fiction writer's imagination.

I think this is just a dry run for TACO.

He is busy surrendering territory he doesn't control - that is part of another sovereign state that hasn't been invited to the 'summit'.

'Summit'? That's what they call photo ops these days!

Soon he will be surrendering Greenland to Putin in return for a brown envelope of 'the tapes' hidden in a Presidential poo box (because Poo Tin does have a sense of humour despite appearances)!

After all that I think I'm supposed to write 'Q'.

Positive words emerging today re. a potential end to the war.

The fly in the ointment or course is that it seems it will certainly mean the loss of some Ukrainian territory and how acceptable that is, I don't know

I see that Zelensky will be having his hand held by the coalition of the willing in the meeting, why who and what for is now for lessons learnt after it is declared over, both Z and Putin have lost significant numbers of their citizens and IMO neither will want to concede anything, once it is done and dusted it wouldn't surprise me to see civil war (Iraq style) within Ukraine and with Z having to flee to a safe haven to live on the alleged stolen money, he's been used as a proxy for NATO (according to many political analysts Jeffrey Sachs being the best placed as a source for this), and that NATO leaders will be holding his hand at the meeting suggests that he is not even in charge of agreeing a solution whatever it might be. Boris Johnson was the NATO puppet used previously the scupper a deal. Some analysts are predicting the land grab by Putin will be to the Dnipro river, I don't see this and that he (Putin) should just tell his troops to withdraw back to his border i doubt will happen, as you have mentioned there will have to be a loss of some Ukrainian territory and possibly withdrawal of US missiles (if there are any) in eastern Ukraine, chat GPT tells me there weren't any!!

One minute Trump is blaming mail-in ballots and counting machines for his 2020 loss after chatting breezy with Poootin and the next minute one of his "out there" non-MSM outlets is spunking $67m up the wall in a settlement! Who to believe in stop the steal land?
