    Home form

Making the place a fortress is going to be very important this season. There won’t be many worse teams than the 2 sides who have been down here so far but it’s good to build confidence. It’s a poor league and we’re not miles off if we can get the incomings right.

Plymouth and Burton the next two at home so a great chance to continue the home form

Burton may get cancelled for international call ups. Not quite sure what the requirements are.

Wales U21's are home to Denmark on Sep 8th (Rodney Parade), and Wales senior side play away in Kazakhstan on Sep 4 and then have a friendly in Swansea on Sep 9.

So CCS is not affected but if we get numbers called into the U21's it could get called off.

It’s a poor league all truth be told. If we don’t get at least play-offs then BBM has failed.

3 players called up and it can be called off. A certainty we reach that level.

3 under 21 call ups and it's called off?

I know they have already sold tickets for the ccs for the wales games but guess they may have to be moved if city don't have enough call ups?

If we win the next 3 would we decline to call it off? Especially if Colwill is left out the Wales squad again

Think we would be missing Kwapkio and Joel Colwill from the first team

There is a U21 fixture: we could lose Colwill R, Colwill J, Ashford, Kpakio, Lawlor, Mafico, King, Nayahkuwa. Maybe even (though less likely) Bagan (Ireland), Davies (Wales), Trott (Bermuda), Salech (Denmark) Turner (Wales). It'll be off.

Hope you are right ! From a selfish point of view i hope it is off I am heading to Australia in September so less games missed the better

If we don’t have at least three players away on international duty when we’re due to play Burton, it’s time for some anti Cardiff City conspiracy theories, Not sure we get anyone in the Welsh senior squad, but the City group that dominated the under 17 squads that reached their Euros are coming through into consideration for under 21 selection now and I don’t see how Kpakio, Lawlor, Joel Colwill, King and Ashford miss out - the last three have been regularly selected in under 21 squads already.

I 'think' Salech has agreed to play for Jordan. So if he has committed you think he'd be a shoe-in for any squad. They're playing Russia in September apparently.

Wales under 21s are playing Denmark in September. Kpakio, Lawlor, J.Colwill, Ashford, Giles, Nyakuhwa likely to be called up.

Chance that R.Colwill is called up for the seniors, there's even a chance Kpakio & Lawlor end up in there as they travelled to Belgium. So 6 or 7 likelihoods for Wales alone, that would leave us with 12 outfielders (presuming Daland leaves). It'll be re-arranged.

Add into that Robinson possibly being called up for Ireland, Robertson possibly playing for Australia and the rumours of Salech declaring for Jordan then we're pretty thin on the ground
