Technically, that is. Can't access, can't post, duplicate postings, etc, etc. Goes down when very busy. It's been like this for ages. The other place doesn't ever have these 'tech issues', so it's not something that can't be sorted once and for all.

There's so many things wrong with this board these days and it's worse than ever on my new Apple laptop. Among the things I have go wrong on are;- ;-
1. Being kicked out about once every ten minutes and having to log back in again often meaning that I lose waht I've been posting.
2. Long delay before what you type appears on the screen.
3. Screen "freezes" and goes blurry when I post a message..
4. In the last few days, I've been getting a blank white screen sometimes when I press on a thread title and have come off the site and then open it up again to get it back.
5. Letters I didn't type appear when I type something with inverted commas or a possessive comma.
6. Adblocker seems to ahve a mind kf it's own when I use this board - it's fine everywhere else.
I've had the problem with the delay between me typing and it appearing on the screen for as long as I've had the laptop, but all of the other things have been going wrong in the last three months or so.
Just for the purposes of diagnosing the issue; I tend to type on my phone. It's android. I don't recognise any of the issues mentioned above. It works fine, except for the fact that the website seems to be down more often than I would expect.
Obviously you never quite know if it's a poor signal or whatever, but it definitely seems to be unaccessible significantly more than most.

It’s a lot worse on my newest computer (my Apple Mac laptop). I’m using an Apple tablet now and I don’t get most of those problems i listed on here - apart from the blank, white screen one anyway.

Since the slow loading/running some weeks ago, the site is working very well for me on Android.
Thought there was a problem with WiFi when I was getting blank white screen as it was occurring on all my devices

As well as everything mentioned above, it does feel incredibly dated, it's feels like something I would have sued in the early 2000's.

In 2007 it worked fine, and did so until a couple of years ago. But of course, things are better now so they keep telling us ! God, how I long for those golden days............
I don't recognise all the problems with this board that others have noted, but it has become worse in recent times.
I have come across white screens at times (on certain devices - not all), data base errors that prevent posting (at times - then it sorts itself out), 'sticky' slow downs that cause or contribute to double posts, the recent appearance of capital As (with circumflex above?) that appear mainly in quoted posts, but also in some original posts (but I noticed the same on a Rotherham message board this morning - so it's not just here) and other irritations.
Hopefully the upgrades Mike mentioned will solve these problems.
