    Great news.

Now to tie down a few more of the Academy products.

Dylan deserves a lot of praise because he could've made a lot more money elsewhere, especially with the lack of transfer fee (we'd be due minimal compensation). Some real big clubs been sniffing around.

BBM should also be praised because this was a million miles away from happening up until a couple of weeks ago. Shows his influence on the board but also the good-feeling he's created in the squad.

Outstanding news. This lad will fetch us a lofty fee in the future. Kpakio next and we'll be laughing.

    Brilliant.

I'm actually enjoying the club this month.

Interesting. Really good news, he's had his challenges this season, but he's got so much going for him, especially in the modern game.

This board feels completely different. Where’s the bad news, the arguments, the disappointing results? It’s like I’ve stepped into a parallel universe.

Great news, well done BBM and Lawlor

Fantastic news - the boy is a Rolls Royce of a player

    Re: Dylan signs new deal

Good news and a sensible move by the club.

Bear in mind that Callum O'Dowda signed a three-year contract extension with City in January but was gone less than six months later. However, what this does is ensure the club will be properly compensated if anyone does come knocking in due course.

If these performances by the academy products continue we’re going to have to put a moat around the ground to keep out agents & scouts looking to fleece us. The January window could be interesting should we still be improving.

We have to go up this year. January I think will be fine unless there are stupid offers.

Lets hope BBM is backed in the next few days.

BBM referenced the international break so maybe he has a heads up as to players involved or he is assuming like a lot us that we hit the threshold to get the game against Burton postponed?

Be good to see a number of young first teamers get game time in one of the two games (potentially the friendly against Canada?)

Youth games count so we should definitely hit the threshold

Lawlor, Kpakio, J.Colwill, Ashford are all nailed on for the u21s at least, Mafico & Nyakuhwa too potentially. Seniors, who knows? Lawlor & Kpakio, maybe R.Colwill? I think Connor Roberts is out injured

Surely if any club had made contact with him or his agent they are in breach of FIFA regulations; guilty of 'tapping up'. No club is allowed to talk with him until the final 6 months of his contract.
