Farage already having to back tracking on his " final solution " plans
Just 24 hours in
😆
You have come in all waving arms ......sounding very much like Nigel farage
Two days ago he came up with all the stuff you wanted to hear .....sort of answering the questions I had asked you but hadn't had a reply .....but already hes on the back foot regarding the issue of vulnerable women and children and the impossible cost of funding all his completely unrealistic ideas
So unless you are going to put forward anything new its pretty obvious hes placated the mob rule and you are happy with him telling you what you want to hear
The main causes of immigration chaos have been the Conservative government of the last 14 years ...farage was a former tory ....and Brexit ...which farage was fully behind
Now its clear Starmer is hopeless but its no good you blaming him after 12 months in charge
Thats just stupid
I posted within moments at your request some ideas that this current government were working on
Now as I always say, Starmer is a let down in huge amounts .....but thats providing you with something to chew on
But you still havnt given your views on what I posted
Are you walking around with your eyes shut and hands over your ears or has someone stitched up your gob so you cant answer?
Get on with it ....saying " stop de boats NOW " is not an answer
For starters I’ve never said “ stop de boats” that’s you trying to be clever, which is a job in itself for you. Stop The boats was my phrase.
For starters, nobody in their right mind can be happy with random folk crossing the channel in an over crowded inflatable boat.
That, as I’ve stated, needs to stop pronto.
Nobody has answered the age old question, including you, as to why desperate people fleeing war torn countries, and illegal immigrants want to put their lives at risk for an 2nd time after reaching the safety of Europe.
Maybe they’ve been falsely promised a land with roads paved with gold, or that we are a soft touch
How I’d attempt to stop the situation, is to get round the table with France, and strike up a deal where we set up centres, on the French borders, (as it’s France they are leaving from) to process asylum seekers, and weed out genuine cases, and take in our quota. Any immigrants not meeting the requirements are not allowed to even cross. That then rightly becomes a French problem and they have to deal with as it’s their country these folk are trying to leave from.
Countries such as Italy get immigrants processed before they are allowed to enter. Why dont we?
No. I dont.
It has to happen pronto though if not just for humane reasons alone.
Anything can be done “pronto” in politics if both sides are genuinely concerned.
That can up taxes pronto, they can up fuel price caps pronto, they can find extra foreign aid pronto. They can do this pronto if they wanted.
I don’t mean tomorrow, ( that was tongue in cheek from me earlier), but it has got to happen within 2yrs at the most.
Where do we find the money to do it? As I’ve pointed out twice in this thread, successive governments have got us into 2.8 trillion pounds of debt. That’s roughly equivalent to Ł450k per head of our population. Will they ever be in a position to pay this off? No. It’s fantasy debt and seeing as a sovereign state can never really go officially bankrupt, they may as well carry on in the manor they are accustomed to and add to the debt to fund it.
The merry go round of world debt, is akin to countries playing fantasy monopoly.
Do you think North Korea will ever pay the massive debts they still owe to the likes of Sweden, The Czech Republic etc.? Will the African nations ever be in a position to pay off their massive debts?
It’s all a game. The average Joe in the street would be homeless and penniless if they fell with in a trillionth of those kind of debts.
Do you know that Japan take in a very small percentage of immigrants, if any at all. They justify it by taking the stance that they don’t want their culture and way of life watered down.
That seems reasonable to me.
Ps, you’ve not answered the question of why immigrants fleeing war torn zones want to put their lives in danger for a 2nd time by crossing the channel in a dinghy?
Japan is a very isolated country , one of the reasons why its easier for them to argue they want their culture protected ......but its nonsense as its hugely swamped by American music and living
I dont want that sort of society , quite socially secretive too
I would imagine many of these migrants think they will be looked after and given opportunities in the UK .....I am not surprised they risk their lives .....why not ?
Not everyone wants the boats blown up
I have some mates who are happy with it. From two sides really. I have a couple of essentially anarchist friends who don't really care about anything, but don't believe in borders or countries or even governments much. Mad, but harmless.
I have other friends, always left-wing, always comfortably off and from wealthy backgrounds who are more.. what would I say.. sanctimonious about it. They just think it's not an issue. That we can absorb whoever wants to come here, and racism is the problem and every issue can be overcome with love and they just don't see, or refuse to see, any issues.
Well part of democracy is accepting that people have different opnions , thats going to be seen in how open minded reform voters are if they lose the Epping hotel appeal and in the long term if the march towards Nigel Farage in number 10 doesnt happen and it all goes tit's up
The majority of Brits just want the boats stopped and the incoming migrant situation monitored properly.
There have always been far right lunatics in every country. Why do you always refer and concentrate on them, and not the millions of Brits who are just totally hacked off with the way that successive governments have failed to deal with the situation.?
