How refreshing and uplifting to watch Cardiff City at the moment. Hats off to Brian Barry-Murphy, his staff and the players for making it a joy again. What a start to the season. Top of the table and absolutely flying. pic.twitter.com/uw75i236e5

the scary thing is, there's definitely room for improvement all over the pitch
Every time I've seen it, albeit on tv or highlights, teams look uninterested in closing people down.
Whether we've exhausted them but the desire to get to the man and stop a shot or cross is woeful.
If sides allow you to tippy tappy pass in and around the box they are shite, I'd hate to see us defend like I've seen some teams defend.
for most of the first half Plymouth were quite in our faces. they had us pinned back for long periods and we didn't mount any significant attacks, gradually we got on top and then the 2 quick goals knocked the stuffing out of them.
whether they could have maintained that intensity if they had nicked the first goal remains to be seen
That said, we look fitter and faster than the other sides I've seen too.
Yes, in the first half I thought they were having to do a lot of running around and they would tire as the game went on.
Another thing I noticed was that recently people have said opposition teams always put three players on R Colwill, but he had a lot of space at times today.
Just listened to Tom Cleverley’s post match comments, refreshing to hear a manager accept that a team was 4 goals better than them and be so complimentary about city’s style of play, even though it took us a while to break them down, I felt we could have had a couple of goals before we actually scored, Salech’s miss in particular from a lovely low ball in from Bagan.
Really?
To be honest, I hadn't paid much attention to that. In a way, that's a compliment - gone are the days when an out-of-play ball would be left for the likes of Sean Morrison to amble across the pitch, wipe the ball under his jersey, then take an age to throw it long down the touchline in the hope we might get another throw-in.
Now our throw-ins are taken much quicker, which is what I've always wanted to see.
My opinion has changed on possession figures, I used to think it was all important, but I can now see there’s a bit more to it than that. In saying that, I definitely believe that a team that has to spend two thirds of the game out of possession and concentrating on doing well when it comes to denying space will always be a fair bit tireder than their opponents in the closing stages.
Absolutely wonderful season so far but we should probably cool it a big with the " why is this league is so easy?" stuff shouldn't we?
We're 6 games in, it's a young team so they probably will have a dip. Long may this continue though!
I wonder what Bulut is making of all this.
