When are we playing Burnley in the EFL Cup?

A few sources have us playing Burnley on the 17th September, but we are playing Exeter on the 16th.

Are we likely to rearrange to the following week, Tue 23rd?

That would be sandwiched between Bradford at home (Sat 20th) and Wigan away (Sat 27th).

Burnley play Forest at home on the 20th and Man City away on the 27th.

Bit of a fixture pile up already.

God knows when we’ll play the Burton game in hand.

The Carabao Cup Rd 3 games are due to be played either w/c 15th or w/c 22nd. To allow for teams in Europe to play in a week where they are free. So either is an option but as you say with Exeter already scheduled it may well be w/c 22nd.

There aren't that many midweek League games coming up so Burton will fit in somewhere but of course we will have Oct and Nov international breaks as well.

Both us and Barnsley’s games are postponed this weekend due to international call ups, likely our visit to them on October 11th will be postponed for the same reason. Bit of fixture congestion looming.
