    I was told by a podcaster that there was a sell on clause, but as I also mentioned the word apparently suggests that there is an element of doubt.

    Either way we will receive the remaining transfer fee much sooner than what’s been accounted for.

    I very much doubt we'll get anywhere near the Ł10 million that he was reportedly sold to Luton for as that was apparently dependent on various add-ons. I can't imagine one of them was relegation to League One.

    It would be interesting to know the exact figures involved in the two McGuinness deals as that would give us a better indication of real market values for such players, but I guess we never will.

    I liked McGuinness, pretty solid defender who always gave 100%. Good age too, still only 24. We sold him, got relegated, so did he, but he's back in the Championship now. Hopefully, we'll follow him soon.
