Haven't listened to the interview but the email from the club says he'll be leading the team in the final 3 matches.

Been a great player for the club. Let's hope he leaves on a high and best wishes for the future. A chance to bring in a big name to fill his boots.

Watching the Welsh Fire “performing” today, I nominate all of that foreign money goes towards the real Welsh team, not that bunch of mercenary flops.

    Kellaway did well tonight.

Well done to the Glamorgan womens team who have reached the final of the metro cup.

Remarkable achievement since it is their first year, whatever the result next week

    I've just seen this.

"Bunch of mercenary flops" is a great description.

Well done to Glamorgan’s women’s team today for making it through to a 50 over Final next weekend by beating Northants at Sophia Gardens.

Four day stuff restarts today with a game at Northants beginning at 10.30. Last time I looked the forecast for Northampton was not good after today, while there’s going to be much less rain about for games like Middx v Derbyshire and Kent v Lancashire.

Just looked again and it.s not so bad in Northampton now, but they’ll do well to get a full day on Wednesday and Thursday.

This is often the problem with September matches. Need a bit of luck now weatherwise to secure promotion.

Although I’m still a not sure how Ul Hassan retains his place, it’s what is probably our strongest team to face Northants today - we’ve won the toss and are going to bat.

Not a good morning. 4 down. Tribe holding it together.

    Re: GLAMMY

197-5 - Tribe 100 not out, it’s his sixth consecutive score of 50 plus in all competitions.

    Re: GLAMMY

231-5 at tea, Tribe 120 not out.

Session 2 beats session 1. More of the same please!

    Re: GLAMMY

I'm so pleased for Asa Tribe. He has been in terrific form and made the step up. He is also a brilliant fielder.

    Re: GLAMMY

Second batting point, 300-5. Ben Kellaway has been the one who’s attracted most attention, but Tribe has to be another contender for an England Lions tour in the winter surely?

    Re: GLAMMY

367-6, Asa Tribe bats throughout the day for 181.

Fantastic effort from Tribe, he’s in amazing form right now

Got to hope for maximum batting points here. Four points is very likely. A strong first day.

Amazing run. After the 71 against Essex he's followed that with 122*, 131*, 175, 53* (all in 50 over games) and now 181*.

Can't be many players who've hit consecutive hundreds against Leicestershire, Worcestershire and Papua New Guinea but Asa's in that club. Shame he got out in the last over against PNG or he'd be on 662 not out for his last five innings.

Is there an actual Lions tour as the only fixture i can see is the warm up game in Perth v England before the Ashes series?

They had a full Lions tour arranged, but decided to cancel it because some members of the Glamorgan team were playing themselves into contention.

Many a true word spoken…..can’t see kellaway getting any recognition. Maybe tribe has a slightly better chance through his jersey connection and playing in the icc trophy stuff.

Really strong day. When Ingram was out before lunch at 4 down I feared the worst.

With Freddie Flintoff being the Lions coach, maybe he'll come to Cardiff in a couple weeks to watch Glammy play Lancashire. He might take note then.
