Re: Wales v Canada. Match thread

I think Kpakio and J Colwill will get their first caps. Happy for him to rest Lawlor though.

Cant imagine it to sell out, with England playing at the same time. Jack bastards.

    Wales 2-0.

Lawlor, Kpakio & J.Colwill in the matchday squad alongside former Bluebirds Wilson, Moore, Crew and Harris

And who can forget Swansea's Cardiffian captain?

Be a tough game tonight, Canada are a decent side, ranked a couple of places above us. Important we don't lose as playoff seedings will be based on world rankings

Hopefully can come away with a win

50% of our defence coming back from this break as full internationals!

Just checked the Ireland score, Joel Bagan can't be far off a cap at the rate they're going. Lost out in Armenia and bottom of the group after a lucky draw v Hungary

Good to see International refs are shite as well. As clear a pen u can get. Kpacio and Wales very lucky and should have benefited even more but for Brooks swing and miss.

    Kpakio was fortunate there.
The commentators need to open their eyes if they think that was a well timed tackle.

We've been outplayed first 10 but still should have scored 2.

Re: Wales v Canada. Match thread

How have they managed to sell so little for a Wales international?
at CCS I still think they'd manage about 17k... about 12k there?

Apparently, this is the clown who refereed the Fulham-Chelsea game. Canadians deserved that penalty, sorry Kpakio.

Sorry to say, but you can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear. Canada with no pedigree or real football competition totally outplaying Wales up to now.

They're ranked higher than we are and this is hardly our first team

Canada's front 2 play for Juventus and Villarreal, they have midfielders at Villarreal, Anderlecht and Sassuolo. They're not cloggers by any means

5 yellows in a friendly. Nuts. Reminds me of the clown who sent Neco Williams off for handball in a pre-Euros friendly v France

This guy shouldn't be refereeing at Sunday league level. The Wilson yellow card was disgraceful.

Wilson didn’t get a yellow card, it was Brooks
