He's a knockout! Lynyrd Skynyrd playing Freebird live at Oakland 1976 is my go to at the minute (again). The Rossington - Collins - Gaines triad is superb.

I think two of the musicians used to play for Welsh prog band Magenta who my lad played with for 12 years, and before Dan played for them, for sure a Welsh band i believe than Sian is the most recent addition but dont know from when.

Back to the 80's and having gone to see Pino in the week, and from the Album that kicked his career into orbit

Pino's concert was the strangest and most disappointing concert I've ever witnessed,
His playing was as expected but the concert with his musicians was just weird.
Not one word spoken to the audience except the guitarist muttering thankyou for coming as they walked off stage
I was kind of expecting Pino to give a little background from his roots and school days in Cardiff, how he got his break etc, time with the Q Tips, Paul Young, invited to play with the who, weird just weird. Very indulgent music and was glad it wasn't a long set.

And he obviously didn't mention about his putting coins in dog poo in the lane behind his house and in order to see if anyone would extract them. I remember it well!
