Went along to the doctors for my INR check yesterday and part of the booking in procedure was an offer to arrange a flu jab for everyone having an INR. As usual, I didn’t get seen until about twenty minutes past my appointment time and I decided to do a small survey as to how many were turning down the flu jab - I made it that five out of fifteen turned down the vaccine and I would say they were all in their middle age (40 to 50) and only one of them was a woman - hardly scientific, but interesting. I would have predicted that fewer than a third would have turned it down (maybe a quarter).
