The real question is how much is Jason Koumas paying to have his son included? Has he actually done anything apart from disappoint for Stoke?
This season. This off of a post on page 1

Rubin Colwill 11 starts (1 sub) 4 goals, 4 assists
Liam Cullen 3 starts (5 sub) 0 goals, 1 assist
Aaron Ramsey 3 starts (3 sub) 1 goal, 0 assists
    Nathan Broadhead 3 start

No doubt Rubin is in better form albeit in a weaker division, but I should imagine international players are afforded more time to regain their form to keep squads together.

I suspect Lewis Koumas' stats would read 0 starts, 0 goals, 0 assists.

    Cullen's Championship stats last season:

    35 (+7) appearances, 11 goals

    Colwill's Championship stats last season:

    24 (+19) appearances, 1 goal

If they do play in the same position, it's not difficult to see how Cullen got ahead of Colwill in Bellamy's thinking.
"Not a rhetorical question". Ok, Dave. OK.

Cullen has scored 3 goals in the last 9 months and no goal involvements this season, but hey, form and consistency.

Like I said in my original post, Bellamy doesnt fancy Rubin, thats his prerogative as the manager, just say it instead of giving the lad false hope.

Oh yeah. BBC website has it as a mens fixture. I should have looked at the date more closely though.

It wasn’t a rhetorical question. You stated Colwill and Cullen play in the same position. I haven’t watched Cullen that often, but whenever I have he’s appeared to be playing further forward than Colwill. I’d have classified him as a forward (but not a striker as such), while I’d classify Rubin as a midfielder. But you said they play in the same position.

Is it just as simple as you were wrong?

They are both attacking midfielders / 2nd strikers or behind the striker, whatever you want to call it these days, although Cullen did play some games as a 9 when Swansea didnt have one, maybe where he got his goals, who knows, but I bow to your 50 years watching the game. I must be wrong. You're right. You have the last word Shrimpy.

I think Rubin is the only person who knows exactly where Bellamy stands. I think Bellamy leaves the door open to shut down any more questions about it but it ain't happening, and Rubin isn't for him. He's not going to play for Bellamy, and that's fine for us, as he'll be fit. He's not going to start over Harry Wilson either, so doesn't really affect Wales.

    Re: Wales Squad

I think Rubin should be in this squad but I take the positive of if he's not then he stays injury free.
My question is when will he ever fit in this poor squad with Bellamy as manager, wtf does he have to do ?

    Re: Wales Squad

Bellamy picks the team, not us or the press. Now lets concentrate on the Wrex...I mean the Burton game

I suspect he will get a call up with drop outs. DJ is supposedly out, though I wouldn't be shocked if Isaak Davies gets a call up there.

    I will, thanks.

It seems Cullen and Colwill don’t play in the same position. You stated they do. It appears you were wrong. Again.

    You’re welcome, you massive prawn.

I don't think Bellamy would sit there fielding question after questions about why he hasn't picked him if it was because Rubin refused to be picked

    Re: Wales Squad

Last night we saw more evidence of why Craig Bellamy is reluctant to select Rubin Colwill - an erratic and ineffective performance against the team who were bottom of League One.

Meanwhile, the much-maligned Liam Cullen scored the winner for Swansea at Blackburn as they rose to 7th in the Championship table.

Jordan James is on loan at Leicester City.

That’s very selective. The squad was announced before last nights games. On Saturday Rubin Colwill was instrumental in a dominant Cardiff performance away to Wigan whereas Liam Cullen didn’t get off the bench in Swansea’s home draw and remained on zero goals for the season.

Selective is what he does best but leave him have his moment revelling in a City defeat and Rubin not having his best game. It’s like Xmas has come early for him. Never seen a so called City fan so delighted that the Jacks have risen to 7th place. Sad little dwarf.

    Keep trying, you cowardly tit.

Do you actually go to City games these days or are you still championing Merthyr as the place to be?

Well, it's Bellamy's call, not mine. For what it's worth, I'd probably have Colwill in the Wales squad, although I'm not sure what role he'd play. Cullen apparently plays further forward rather than as an attacking midfielder, so it's not a like-for-like situation anyway.

I watch both if that’s ok with you? Actually been to more City this season.

However, what’s attending City games live got to do with having an opinion? You had plenty when on your “sabbatical”. That sabbatical where you was never attending again until Tan had gone. Or until you had the chance to sniff a friends widow.

Oooh, you're so nasty, and cowardly, and fake, and clearly disturbed. But you're funny, I'll give you that.

It's hilarious that you've become so upset in this thread simply because you made yourself look a bit daft by stating Colwill and Cullen play in the same position. Easy prawny, we all make mistakes! Don't worry about it!

Sniff a friend's widow, though? Jesus wept, that's a grim one even for you. But it kinda sums you up.

Im not upset at all. Quite the opposite. Dave.

Im laughinng how serious you take your "shooting from the lip" mantra.

Exploding with delight that Cullen scored for the Jacks last night.

What a sad man you are, Shrimpy.

It's a bit weird that you use my forename when you don't know me, and apparently see that as some sort of an advantage. Very odd. Similar to the personal jibes about appearance, height, etc, while hiding in anonymity. Strange behaviour indeed, but you've got plenty of previous.

Sniffing a friend's widow. Wow. Really low, but you've stooped way lower.
