    Definitely something up with Robertson

Latest comments from BBM re Robertson

"Alex is in full training and training with the rest of the players. He's building up his volume of training now, but he just has to do more to be competitive in a squad of this nature," he said.

"It just means, in the squad, the level of training, as we reference so many times, is of the highest level and we have to get to that level every single individual player.

"So if you look at the squad on Tuesday night, Dak Mafico wasn't in the squad, Tanatswa (Nyakuhwa) was, Isaak wasn't based on what he's done.

"So before we can judge players on ability, you have to reach a certain level of intensity where it's a level playing field.

"We can't have a presumption of seniority or players having an elevated status based on what they've done before.“

Beginning to wonder whether we’ll see him again….

    So Isaak wasn't injured. !!!!!??

That's crazy if right and really feckin annoying because he'd been a real option off the bench.

    Feckin bonkers!!!

    Brian Barry-Murphy:

    "Isaak Davies is fine.

He just played Tuesday and Saturday so consecutive games for the first time in a long, long time.

He wasn't completely comfortable that he would recover in time so I just took the decision for him that I didn't want to risk him.

But he'll be back for Saturday.

Gabe Osho had a bang to his knee.

We expect him to be possibly available for Saturday but not guaranteed."

Guess in the mention of Robertson and training he just means Isaac didn't train as much.

That reads like heÂ’s not doing enough in training to warrant the manager putting him in the squad let alone the team.

Ultimately BBM sees these lads in training every day and heÂ’s paid to pick the squad / team. Nothing wrong with that.

I think itÂ’s refreshing that a manager works like this and doesnÂ’t just pick his favourites regardless of how they work all week.

The last thing we need is Isaak getting another long term injury. It’s good management to manage his minutes. Hes not long back from a serious injury.

Could also be read that BBM wasn't getting the response he wanted from Davies, so took the decision out of his hands. I'm not saying that is the case, but managers want to hear a player saying that they can play, even when the manager knows that they can't or shouldn't. He's given Robertson a belting mind. Doesn't bother me.

Ive seen the full quote now and hes clearly game managing him due to his injuries so fair call.

And to be fair we should have had more than enough at home to Burton not to risk him.

Why are we not sending him to play for the under 21s to get game time? He’s probably happy to collect his wages until January with a move lined up. Make him earn them

Is it that refreshing? There’s loads of managers that do that and then get a pasting from the fans for ‘not picking so and so’
