You could easily flip that. To avoid the confrontation the Trust Board could be proactive an offer a seat to one of the volunteers? Obvious really

The confrontation has not come from the Trust. A huge number of people join - which is good with the right motives - but immediately put down a motion demanding an election with the aim of removing the chair Keith Morgan and probably most of the board.

The usual annual election process starts in the new year so there was an opportunity to put forward candidates for the board and in the meantime for dialogue but there is an agenda, however, it is dressed up.

As one of the 28 signatories of a recent letter, I want to clarify our position on our request for an Election of the CCST Trust board, considering some of the unfair rumours doing the rounds. We have stayed silent and not put comments out on social media to avoid battles and try to keep things professional. So why has AA joined the Trust - as the talk suggests and that hasn't been denied? Is it to focus on creating a so-called stronger trust or is to remove the chair and other members and completely change the way the Trust operates?

It would be helpful if you advised for all of what you consider needs to be done and listed the 3 priorities that you think the trust should be delivering on.

Only have to read Daya’s twitter to realise how personal all this is. He’s a certain someone’s mouthpiece.

These are the two guys who promised the takeover was happening and sending similar messages laughing about the trust being mistaken when they warned against fans getting their hopes up. How did that all end again…

A little odd that this "person" signs up this week and has spent every single person fighting your corner and defending you and the Trust. Their post on what the Trust has acheived was almost an exact replica of yours just days earlier.

You'd have to define exactly what "all of this" is for me to provide you with an answer to that suggestion.

I can tell what I definitely didn't enjoy though, and that was learning an organisation I and a handful of others (including Keith) worked so hard to create in the first place had dropped down to such a disappointingly low level of membership.

You have regularly criticised the low membership of the trust. Who is that aimed at? Trust volunteers I would assume rather than supporters who have not signed up. In a long post earlier in the thread you mentioned that “apparently” lots of people now call it the Keith Morgan show. I have not heard anyone in or out of the trust mention this apart from certain individuals (and the same phrase is now being used by Daya on X to whip up him and AA’s followers).

The post I replied to you also managed to change the subject to the membership numbers again (despite it being clarified earlier in this thread it is in line with clubs of our size which you chose to ignore).

Then you are straight in clarifying AA was an original member as if this was relevant to anything. You are not thick as far as I’m aware, you know what you are doing.
