I mean, the people of Swansea would say the exact same about us. I'm sure many in Glasgow would rather fans be banned from away games and I suspect a pretty penny was spent on policing Liverpool v Man United yesterday.

As an aside - and I freely admit that Maccabi Tel Aviv have their share of thugs - but every video I have seen from yesterday involves Hapoel Tel Aviv (who play in red and white) who are their rivals, and were the home side. Just an observation that is. I don't doubt Maccabi fans contributed to the chaos, as these things are very seldom one sided.

Because of fan safety

Well by definition, anything related to away fans is connected to fan safety cos the very reason we have segregated sections is due to fan safety (although I read with interest recently that Premiership Rugby is bringing it in to aid atmospheres..).

But the reason away fans weren't present for two years is because the clubs couldn't agree on allocations. Thankfully reversed now.

In terms of trouble, things seem to be a little worse in Scotland now than England and there is a much stronger "pyro" culture, up there, I'm not sure why tbh
