Ferguson has been appointed manager of Peterborough on four occasions and once as a player, that's five hits at it if my adding up is still as good as it used to be, So by my reckoning, they get him back in when things aren't going as planned, then sack him when things aren't going as planned.... Why do i bother Incidentally, that's a question for people. What's the most number of times a manager has returned to a club? I think Steve Coppell did Palace on four occasions.

Actually I thought your first post was funny. However, I misinterpreted it. I thought you meant once the new manager turns Peterborough around and got them up into a promotion tilt they would bring Ferguson back to cock it up
