The team for Tuesday v Arsenal u21s is going to be very young.
Per BBM's pre-Blackpool press conference, he will avoid playing some who will feature on Saturday, is losing loads down the age-groups to Wales, has a number of injuries (Rob Tankiewicz broken collar bone for one), and wants to let fans know early that the team will not be like the one put out for Newport!
Noah Williams, Mannie Barton & Jac Thomas called up to Wales u19s
Alex Cross, Jacob Norris, Keano Conaty, Paul Moreno, Axel Donczew called up to Wales u17s
By my count that is Rubin Colwill, Joel Colwill, Dylan Lawlor, Ronan Kpakio, Dakari Mafico, Luey Giles, Cian Ashford, Tanatswa Nyakuhwa and the players listed above called up by various Wales squads. 16 players or so
We'll be dipping into the under 12s for players against Arsenal at this rate!
BBM was right to say that our situation is almost unique- no other team in the two lower leagues are going to have the number of youth internationals called up that we are even in times when we’re not doing as well when it comes to producing youth players. That’s not a bad team under the circumstances, but I think Ng’s injured isn’t he? Wouldn’t be surprised to see one of our younger centrebacks given a game.
Under 18s home to Millwall this lunchtime, kick off 1 o clock.
u21s beat Charlton 3-0 earlier, goals from Perrett, Pearce & Davies
Strong line up. Griffiths, Williams, Kingdon, Keita, Giles, Mafico, Apter, Perrett, Nyakuhwa, George and Pearce. I'm guessing that'll be close to the team for Wimbledon next week, with Spiers to come in (and Turner in goal).
No Perrett, Giles or Nyakuhwa for the u21s tonight as they lost to Burnley
Or Mafico (or Pearce) but Perrett is an interesting one. For me, he's lacked a bit of oomph when I've seen him this season (stop me if I'm getting too technical) but he's the only other regular number 10 and he's scored a few goals. If he's been impressing BBM then he could get a chance in the league before long.

On Perrett I thought he looked the pick of the bunch against Arsenal u21s and like you say is the only other regular number 10 so he could get a shot
u18s lost 3 - 0 to Swansea.
It’ll be interesting to see what the team looks like for the under 21s match at Barnsley this lunchtime.
