CARDIFF CITY v AFC WIMBLEDON. Match thread

    Tuesday 2nd December, ko 7:00pm
Vertu Trophy knock out round of 32.
    Live on Sky Sports +

    Match Officials:

    Referee: Abigail Byrne
    Assistant Referee: Thomas Staten
    Assistant Referee: Harley McKittrick
    Fourth Official: Matthew Jones

Full set of youngsters again or a mix with some first teamers?

With matches against Huddersfield, Stevenage, Doncaster and Chelsea in the two weeks following this fixture I expect the kids who did did so well aganst Arsenal U21's to be given another chance.

Didn't BBM 'suggest' that the squad would be a combination of those who faced Arsenal u21s, some of the returning Wales age-group players, and a few from the senior squad who need to build up their match time?

He did say the team and squad would be very young, but there could be a few old lags involved.

That'll be lost on many on here. She has reffed five Tier 3 (L1) & 4 (L2) games.

Abigail was never seen in the play/film. The essence of good refereeing?

The team that beat Arsenal played really well. I hope most get the chance to follow it up again.

I think the only certainty is Matt Turner in goals

Presumably the following youngsters will play: Giles, Mafico, Nyakuhwa, Perrett

After that its anyone's guess as to whether that will be supplemented by first teamers who need gametime (Osho and Kellyman maybe?) or if we go all out for the under 21s again

I thought he previously said the same team would get a chance in the next round. Although I don't see why we wouldn't use the likes of Chambers, Kellyman etc who barely or didn't play at the weekend but he didn't in the last round so I'm expecting pretty much the same u21 team.

Will be interesting to see what he does.

the under 21's are away to barnsley tomorrow so i guess we will be playing our first team

or maybe our 18's will travel to Barnsley

BBC deleted the tweet with the wrong score from the Mandfield game. But it included this graphic:
