Vaibhav Suryavanshi just hit 175 off 80 balls to help India beat England in the u19s world cup. He's 14!

Hes a ridiculous talent. He got a century off 35 balls in last years IPL.

There was me hoping we’d signed someone!

I realised what I had done straight away and changed it - I would’ve got away with it as well if it wasn’t fore those pesky kids

He’ll play senior international cricket by the time he’s 16 I reckon.

Amazing knock, just seen the highlights now. I was getting regular updates on the game from a gloating Indian lad in work today. I tried telling him I'm not interested in cricket but he saw through that and carried on regardless.

I hope England can get their act together in the grown-ups T20 World Cup that starts tomorrow. It's going to be a long month for me if not. The Ashes were tough enough and India weren't even in it.

England are in a good place going into the tournament. Think they've won 11 out their last 12, including 3-0 in Sri Lanka. Theyre due to play all their Super 8 games in Sri Lanka.

They did well in Sri Lanka, yes. Looks like a good team spirit and they've got a few match-winners in there. Not sure how strong that bowling line-up is, I can't see Jacks and Bethell ripping through India or South Africa like they did Sri Lanka on Tuesday, but they should be in with a chance for sure.

I wouldn't call Dawson a top class spinner, but he's someone England should have made more use of through the years seeing as the best English spinner by a distance has played so little test cricket - it was just dogma which kept Bashir in the team ahead of him in recent years. Even with Rashid and Dawson in the side, England still look short of a good spinner in these conditions unless one of Bethell and Jacks can maintain the form they showed in the third game with Sri Lanka. I've not got much faith in England's pace bowling either, but their recent record means that anything less than a place in the Semi Finals has to be seen as a failure for their under pressure coaching and management teams.

Nathan McAndrew signing - I’m positive with this, sort of solid experienced quick bowler who should help in both formats. Fingers crossed.

Only 2 4-day games though which is a shame.

it's nonsense like this that makes being a casual cricket fan more difficult than it should be

My comment or the cricket schedule?
I guess the schedule makes it more difficult for everyone, players and officials, but as Bob says, hopefully we'll see Fernando back too.

Fantastic game between South Africa and Afghanistan, which is now going to a second super over, being ruined by the ranting Sud Efrikan commentators.

England, losing wickets way too cheaply yet again, being outplayed and outthought by the West Indies - they can be relied on so often to lose all ten wickets within their allotted overs.

Hussein covered himself in glory by saying with 10 balls to go "Curran needs to face every single ball from now on and hit it for a boundary."
I used to think he was a decent commentator but he's just irritating now.
