Glam defeating themselves here with bizarre last wicket tactics. Brainless

Tribe gone. Big blow. Glammy 127/3. They have made a good fight of this but 283 on this pitch against a strong attack is a big ask.

    Re: GLAMMY

Somerset have got to be favourites, but, judging by the little I saw of today’s play, the pitch has quietened down a fair bit and if it becomes a typical fourth day Cardiff track, we can definitely still win. What concerns me is that it looks like we’re still going to need something like 60 to 80 when the new ball becomes available.

    Re: GLAMMY

It's going to be tough. If somehow we can conjure up an 80 odd partnership in 24 overs like Hassan and Tribe did against the new ball then we may be in with a shout. That's a big ask. Somerset's seamers we're all on it today and it's not your usual Sophia Gdns road pitch unfortunately.

Weve scored 27 this morning in 20 overs.
Great that we haven't lost a wicket but I'm not sure if playing so defensively is going to end up with a victory.

Hadley has got 18 runs from 120 balls but crucially he’s still there and still plenty of overs to go today

    202-5 at lunch. Please continue…….

    Re: GLAMMY

Hadley was riding his luck a bit early on but great session from both, playing each ball on its merits, smack the shit ones away.

It's ours to lose now, though definitely not in the bag on a wicket like this.

Well the approach seems to be working but I agree, I wish they would get on with it, if only because of any weather delays.

    Nail biting!

I think the umpires were on our side

Brilliant Glammy win. What a nail biter. Hadley great performance. Many in the ground yesterday were questioning why he came in as night watchman with more than 8 overs left last evening.

Well well well. A fantastic win. I'm struggling to think of a better win since the glory days of 1997. Ryan Hadley batted for virtually an entire day. What an immense effort from him.
Top stuff and a game to remember.

And if you look at the table before Notts finish we’re 2nd!!

Fantastic win and an unbelievable innings from Ryan Hadley.
Before this game he'd only ever scored 52 runs in 19 first class matches. He probably can't believe what he's done himself in this one.

What a win! Low bonus point game so finishing that off there was very important.

Great stuff, why is Hadley only here for 6 games ?

Great to see. There is a resilience to this squad and the youngsters are all contributing.

They have Nathan McAndrew signed up for T20 and the four day games in June. I wouldn't be surprised if we try and get Hadley back for the latter part of the season. He has done well and clearly committed to the team.

    Re: GLAMMY

Incredible to think we won that with Carlson scoring 25 I think it was and Ingram 4. I reckon Somerset will finish in the top three and, unlike the win over a Hampshire side that are shaping up as the worst team in the division, this is a statement victory which suggests, to my surprise, that we’re here on merit. I read something before the season started saying that Glamorgan would need three wins to stand a good chance of staying up - with the spirit and team ethic we’ve shown in all of our games so far, you’d like to think we could do it.

What an effort by Hadley, so pleased he managed to get to his fifty. Well done to Dickson as well who has recovered well from a dodgy start to his Glamorgan career.

Blimey that was an exciting and nervous ending. Well played Glammy!
