Wales’ only previous encounter against African opposition

Remarkably, tonight’s fixture against Ghana at the Cardiff City Stadium will be only the second time Wales have met African opponents, 28 years on from the last time time we were pre-World Cup friendly fodder for opponents from the continent. ‘Fodder’ being the operative word.

Did any of you go to this one?

The new timing rules around substitutions and throw ins are improving the game. I can see us falling foul of the throw in rule in particular as we rarely take a quick throw

Ghana were much better second half and we looked a little bereft of ideas. Dylan Lawlor came off complaining about his knee - think it was the same one he injured in the play-off. A rest will do him good.
Noticed aswell that Ghana's manager is Carlos Quieroz. He's had more jobs than Neil Warnock.

I went to the game with Doris, it was pretty decent for a friendly IMO, 1st half Dan James was the threat but Wales insisted on playing it out to Sorba Thomas who I didn't think was having his best game for Wales and he was contained quite easily, Kiefer also having little impact on the game, Bellamy does what Bellamy does and took the threat off, i don't know if James had a problem or maybe an agreement in place with his club, their fans brought lovely colour and made good noise, at half time there was a lady having pictures taken of her to the pitch backdrop with a Miss Africa beauty pageant band thingy around her and she was drop dead gorgeous, her mate taking the pics was a stunner as well, pie un chips, a bottle of Doombar, 14,000 steps for the evening an enjoyable couple of hours

The pie un chips and bottle of Doombar probably negated the 14,000 steps.

There's nothing wrong with that, and he still made it to the match on time!

I was propositioned at the wenault around 10 years ago. I was walking my Jack Russell of a summers evening, Scooter. He did his usual thing and legged it back into the wooded area. There was no use in going back in and looking for him, he'd always run back to the car park after he'd been an arse. So i waited. There was a Bloke and a woman in a range rover opposite my van. The woman stepped out of the vehicle and had the shortest of skirts on, stockings and no underwear, i found that out when she blatantly bent over in front of me. The bloke was grinning away, at least i think he was.

It was one of those occasions where i didn't really know what to do, so i ****ed off and went to retrieve my dog, i couldn't find him as he'd gone back to the car park! Anyway, the couple had gone when i returned, to my relief, although the Dog wasn't happy after i had told him what i'd seen.

Bet Scooter was fed up over the years that every subsequent walk was up the Wenallt.

I used too, he was a big fan of moulin rouge, he couldn't stop watching it. Loved wearing his little burlesque outfit on walks, said it enticed the squirrels down from the trees, and that they loved being chased by him in his tight fitting outfit. Is that filthy enough for you 🤣
