The 2 Durham openers are rightly ahead of him at the moment, but all he can do is keep playing well and keep reminding them he's not far behind.

Glamorgan had Gloucestershire 121-8 with three overs left - it’s one thing conceding thirty seven runs off eighteen balls to specialist batsmen, but this was to a youngster making his way in the game and a bowler with a T20 average of 8.
The 99% would have been ridiculous for most sides.

Yorkshire were 139-8 earlier, needing 56 off the last 27 balls to beat Derbyshire and they got home with four balls to spare.

An interview with Asa Tribe here, done during the Lions game. Rob Key has been talking to him, things are looking positive. I was hoping Key had told him he's completed the Lions now so can go and play T20 for Glamorgan but it doesn't get mentioned.

Talking of T20, any news on Nathan McAndrew? He's due to play for us on Friday but I haven't seen that confirmed.

He was supposed to play for us last week as well, so not sure what's going on there. Injured?

Not sure, he's here now though.

It says there that Hadley is now available for the next two Championship games which would give us three overseas players for them as well as three for our T20 campaign.

Neesham in for Farooqi for the rest of the T20.

    Re: GLAMMY

Jimmy Neesham available after the Somerset game. Still no Ingram but Douthwaite back in the squad.

After Banton in particular started off like a house on fire, Glamorgancame back well to limit Somerset to 171-9 - three wickets for Crane, but the star was NathanMcAndrew with 4-15.

As debuts go, that's up there with Matt Kuhnemann's brief appearance last year.

Carlson puts Somerset to the sword again! 109 off 44 balls - Glamorgan 146-1 in the twelfth over.

    Re: GLAMMY

Win by seven wickets with 30 odd balls to spare.
I guess someone had it coming 👏 👏

Absolutely - great knock. But 4-15 on debut is quality. Stopped the rot, onto 3 tough away games, thurs, fri, Sunday.

Just a pity we lost the first two so narrowly.

    Should have won both.

    Re: GLAMMY

At some point Carlson has to come into England consideration in white ball cricket. Brilliant stuff.

    Re: GLAMMY

How on earth has Kiran Carlson not hot a Hundred contract? Reviewing all the squads there are stacks of players who shouldn't be considered ahead of him.

    Re: GLAMMY

I was there tonight Kiran rode his luck but some incredible shots in that knock, I really enjoyed that win .

    Re: GLAMMY

You could put a strong Welsh T20 side batting side together. The bowling would be weak and includes Douthwaite Mcilroy and Gorvin who would be eligible on residency grounds.
Donald was scoring at a quicker rate than Carlson tonight

    Aneurin Donald
    Phil Salt
    Kiran Carlson
    Asa Tribe
    Ben Kellaway
    Will Smale
    Alex Horton
    Dan Douthwaite
    Tom Norton
    Andy Gorvin
    Jamie McIlroy

Big crowd there tonight, great time to turn in a performance like that. I've no idea what Poc looks like but I'm sure he's in here somewhere.

I’m not so sure about Northants as we were always chasing that game, but we’d have beaten Gloucestershire if we’d played to 75 % of last night’s level.

He was bemoaning the lack of entertainment.
