Comparing reactions to similar events isn’t. It’s called testing whether a principle is applied consistently. If that comparison makes you uncomfortable, attack the comparison if you like, but don’t pretend it’s the same thing as changing the subject.

there is nothing consistent in the point you are trying to make. On one hand we have the police attend a murder and arrest the victim, whereas on the other hand...well I have no idea what point you are trying to make.
