Are they brushing the water back on to the pitch?

I know a family who went to watch a game last year at the Inter&Co and just before kick off they had a Florida rain storm, couldnt see the pitch, completely under water, KO was pushed back 1 hour, then another 1/2 hour, but inside that time the rain had gone and the pitch was playable, they had a 6yr old with them, of course by the end of the game it was close to midnight
