    These would be all great assets to us if we want to make this formation really work its best.

    The only down side would be the apparent lack of pace (which is one area that nelson does well - presuming he'd be replacing Nelson)

    If he does well for us this kind of signing would be one that would definitely have a lot of potential to rise in value and quickly.
    Left footed centre backs who can defend and pass and dribble are like rocking horse shit at the moment.
    Are you insinuating that Nelson has pace ? If so, I think a visit to specsavers is required.

    Actually Nelson is probably the quickest, paciest player in our squad.

    Truthfully. This season, the quickest player on City's books is Nelson - the slowest was Tomlin. Nelson is probably pacier than most of the Chelsea and Liverpool squad.
    Quick feet, ah, that's another thing. Nelson's the slowest in the UK, Tomlin is/was like lightening.
