This is excellent analysis - I remember Morrison (and Hudson) both getting off to slow starts here, but both came good in the end for us.

I was hopeful of the same happening with Flint.....

Flint is a good player at this level, just didnt work out with us for some reason.

Over the years we always seem to have had good centre backs

Morrison, Bamba, Hudson, Johnson, Purse, Gabbidon, Collins, Young, Ford etc

But the number of fullbacks we've had that everyone agrees are good is a very short list.

Strangely I was having this conversation with a fan of anothe championship team and they said exactly the same thing about their club, I wonder if everyone thinks the same about their centre backs.
